She-Devil with a Morning Star

The Lucio Parillo covers for Queen Sonja just keep getting better and better. Issue 3 is my favorite one yet. (Who says Sonja always has to fight with an edged weapon?)

I'm not as big a fan of Mel Rubi's artwork inside the book, but there are pages that definitely stand out.

If only the creative team for Dynamite's Highlander series had been as true to their source material, I might still be reading about the adventures of Connor Macleod. *sigh*

  2. FYI: the Google translation for the above comment is "Worked hard! I wish you getting better and better". I'm guessing this is some sort of attempt to spam us, but...I don't get it.

Oh wait, I just discovered the spam. It's in each of the dots following the message. Clever.

Looks like there's no new release for Sonja this week. There is a She-devil with a Sword omnibus volume 1 trade paperback due to be released today, but why would I buy that when I have all the individual issues? On the bright side, a new Conan ("Conan the Cimmerian, The Weight of the Crown" one-shot) is supposed to be out today.
